I hand made the 'Polar-roo (a feltie polar bear with marsupial tendencies), her cub is carried in a neat little pouch. Hey Jennifer!,
Great first submission, colors are great and love all your shoes :) I can see three little teeny weeny penguins on your page. Love how you used circle shapes in your layout, Great sub1 - shazza
Next DT sub is from......
Hi Shazza,
Here is my Happy Feet submission! Boy it took me ages to come up with an idea for this one! Penguins! I couldn't think of any photos I had that would go with a penguin! then I remembered this photo from Sea World when we took the ride to the Arctic section to see the Polar bears. We came from boiling hot sun to Ice on the walls in a matter of minutes, we were all shivering like mad! Not a brilliant photo I'm afraid but the only one I could think of!
I used DCWV white and blue cardstock, PP and large glitter chipboard letters from the summer collection, small white letter stickers are Doodle bug designs. Blue letters were from a QVC kit. Foam snowflakes from baker ross and penguin stickers from the £1 shop!
Thanks for another great challenge!
take care, Ali
What a great pic to use from Seaworld and love how you have used your little penguins from the cheapie shop! I love the band of icicles pp down the side of your page, Great sub, well done! - Shazza

Lets see some more Happy Feet submissions!
Hi Shazza, Here is my take on Happy Feet for March:
I took decided to go with the title of the movie as the inspiration for which photos to scrap as I had these of my friends son starting to walk and so thought it would be a great use for them.
I have a penguin on my LO, it is down the bottom left corner and I found him on E-bay and he was a mobile phone decoration which I pulled apart to put on my page.
Regards, Anne P.
I think you've covered all the criteria here Anne. Love the penguin charm, gorgeous pp and some great pics, all in all a fantastic sub for the month, .......I love the little fella's smiley grin! Cheers Shazza

Well I love this movie, I know kid at heart that I am. I took this photo a while ago of my feet when I was playing with my camera, lol...and just had to use it for this layout. I went with mainly a blue colour theme for my layout, with added yellow and green/brown.I also added my title and journaling to the actual photo before I printed it out for something a bit different.
So looking forward to seeing what you all create...
Marisa Page

Our 'Movie Extra' for March is........
Here is another new DT member......
I've been scrapbooking for about 8 years and love it!
I'm young at heart!
My style is uncluttered as I try to emphasise the photos. I have made cards, and ATC’s but generally I’m a scrapper with layouts. I’ve made lots of off the page mini albums and other items.
Adorable

Meet our new DT member Anne Patterson.......
Anne will officially start in March!
My name is Anne Patterson and I have been scrapbooking for over four years. I came across the hobby when a friend of mine invited me to go to a creative memories party when I was living in the US and I guess I just never stopped. I love scrapping and the main subjects are my wonderful sons who are 2 and 4 years of age. I can not say I have a distinct style as I enjoy trying new things and new products. My favourite techniques are paper piecing and stitching on my page, but I am always up for a challenge and this is often what inspires my LO’s. I am currently on the Design Team at Scrap of Difference (www.scrapofdifference.com.au).
Shazza
Meet our new DT member......
I've been scrapping for 2 years now and I love to get my hands dirty with paint and glue and create something simply because it makes me happy. I consider myself to have more of a 'freestyle' style when it comesto amking layouts, as whenever I try to do something with clean lines I can't help myself but want to mess it up! I love to handmake embellishments, or customize traditional ones. and I use a variety of different mediums, regularly incorporating paint, ink, spray mist, texture paste, fabric, recycles items, beads (anything I can find really!) onto my creations.
Please check out Natalies blog at......... http://onescrappydoctor.blogspot.com
Please make Natalie welcome to FS2S
Here are a few of Natalies gorgeous creations............

Meet the director of 'Pirates of the Carribean' - At Worlds End.
Verbinski was born the third of five children to Vic and Laurette Verbinski[citation needed] in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. His siblings are Janine, Claire, Diane and Steven. His father was of Polish descent[citation needed] and worked as a nuclear physicist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In 1967 the Verbinski family moved to Southern California, where a young Gregor grew up in the town of La Jolla. Gregor was an active Boy Scout and surfed regularly. He went to Torrey Pines Elementary, Muirlands Junior High, and La Jolla High School before attending UCLA Film School. Verbinski graduated with his BFA in Film from UCLA in 1987.
He and his wife Clayton have two children, Anton and Ivan.
Verbinski was active in several L.A. rock bands early in his career. His first band was Thelonius Monster, which included drummer Danny Heifetz. He also played in the Daredevils, Bulldozer, The Drivers, and the all-star band The Cylon Boys Choir.
He was also in a band called The Little Kings, which backed Stiv Bators on his version of "Have Love Will Travel". Along with a cover of the Moody Blues song "The Story in Your Eyes" (by other musicians), the song was released by Bators in the Fall of 1986 as a 12-inch single on Bomp! (catalogue #12136) and was later included in Bators' compilation album L.A. L.A. On the compilation album's liner notes, label owner Greg Shaw described the band as "an adequate but rootless Hollywood glam-damaged band with tattoos".
His first films were a series of 8 mm films called "The Driver Files" circa 1979, when he was a young teen. Although most associate Verbinski with feature films, he started his career directing music videos for bands like Bad Religion, NOFX, 24-7 Spyz and Monster Magnet working at Palomar Pictures. This was not surprising to his friends in Los Angeles, since he had been in various punk and rock bands; the Daredevils, for instance, included then-departed member of Bad Religion Brett Gurewitz.
Verbinski moved from music videos to commercials, where he worked for many brand names including Nike, Coca-Cola, Canon, Skittles and United Airlines.
One of his most famous commercials was for Budweiser, featuring frogs who croak the brand name. For his efforts in commercials, Verbinski won four Clio Awards and one Cannes Advertising Silver Lion.
After completing a short film, The Ritual (which he both wrote and directed), Verbinski made his feature film directing debut with his comedy flick, Mouse Hunt. The film was a hit globally and he soon followed up the success with the action/comedy The Mexican, starring Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt. The film received mixed reviews, and performed modestly at the box-office, earning $68 million domestically which was quite meager considering its star power (it was technically successful due to its moderately low $38 million budget). Verbinski followed it up with the horror film remake The Ring (2002), which struck gold globally, grossing well over $200 million worldwide. Verbinski also had a directorial hand in The Time Machine that year, temporarily taking over for an exhausted Simon Wells. Verbinski directed some of the underground Morlock sequences and is given a Thanks to credit in the film.
He then directed the very successful Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl which earned over $600 million at the international box office.
His next film was The Weather Man which starred Nicolas Cage. The film received mixed to positive reviews but was a box office failure.
In March 2005 he started filming the sequels Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The former then became his biggest success so far, becoming the third film ever to gross over $1 billion at the international box office.
His future project will be an adaption of William Monahan's novel Light House: A Trifle, which is a story about an artist running away from the Mafia who hides in a lighthouse, in which kooky characters live. He will also direct Butterfly, about a man trying to drive his wife insane.
Verbinksi was also set to direct a film for Universal based on the video game, BioShock.[1] However he has since been replaced by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo as director, but he will still produce.

Another Entry, this time from.........
Hey Shazza, well what a tough challenge ! After looking for the perfect photo and title for my LO, for 2 weeks, this is what I have come up with.
My boys went to a party on the weekend, at a game arcade which also had mini golf. The mini golf course was pirate themed, and I had taken my camera !! My eyes almost fell out of my head when I saw this statue !!! I have filled all the criteria, there are quite a few skulls and crossbones on the PP and in the photo, also added a pirate ship (google images, and mounted) a parrot (weave extras rub-on and texta’s) and 2 swords up near the title (hand cut and heat embossed silver). Phew, it’s all done !! Thanks again Shazza for a great challenge, this challenge pushed me and it’s the first time I have used mesh and embossing powder !! - Michelle
I'm so glad you finally found the perfect photo Michelle... you would have thought your luck had changed once you saw that gorgeous pirate statue, you have done a really great job of this challenge. Love the mesh and also the little pirate ship is so cute. Well done!! - Shazza

Look at this Fab layout, from...
Talk like a pirate day is an international event held on September 19th, it is held annually at my daughter's uni. They get dressed up and walk around "talking like a pirate" and basically have a lot of laughs. Here's her housemates, with her, ready to go. The chipboards were specially made then inked. I used velvet ribbon to match Jacob's vest. This was a fun layout to do.
Wow, I never knew of such an event as 'Talk Like a Pirate Day', it sounds like a lot of fun. Great take on the challenge Julene! how good are those photos :) - Shazza

WOW! Another fantastic layout to share, this time from another newbie :)
Another great take on the challenge by....
Hi Shazza,
This is my entry for Screen to Scrap this month, I would like to thank Amanda Taylor for her encouragement for entering as I didn't think I had all the criteria, her encouragement saw me make a boat sail out of onion packaging & attaching an owl instead of a parrot. I also found this gorgeous photo of Nate and called it "crawling the plank". Thank you. Love Mel
You did a great job of the challenge Melissa..... I'm impressed that you improvised, and made a boat sail. Great photo to use for this challenge. Well done! - Shazza
