Winners for September Home Alone poster....

Thanyou to everyone who entered this months challenge, we had 13 entries, which was a fantastic effort for our second month of challenges and I can only thankyou all for participating and helping make this challenge site grow. I hope you all enjoyed the 'Home Alone' challenge and look forward to you all playing along again in October......... :)

The range of entries was awe inspiring. It was a difficult decision and I'm sure I went through the blog roll of everyone's layouts many times as did the Design Team members. To vote we used the 1st=3pt, 2nd= 2pt and 3rd = 1pt system!!

The SEPTEMBER winner of the
Home Alone challenge

Tina Holmstrom

with her entry - 'Our Home'

Heres a few comments from the DT on Tinas winning entry:

Tina's house was amazing. So much work had gone into it! Fab

I thought the complete layout was very cleverly done, from the hand cutting to the doodling and staying within the criteria

* I chose Tina's entry because she went to a great deal of effort to piece the house and garden together. The colours are bold and striking!

Congratulations Tina on winning the Golden Globe prize of a 'D-Lish Scraps' prize pack and thanks for participating, your entry was devine and your win was well deserved. - Shazza.

The SEPTEMBER runner up winner of the
Home Alone challenge

Jayne Smith

with her entry 'Summer Bliss'

Congratulations Jayne you have won ........A pack of three 'Sam and Lucy' - Weave extras, which include puffies, chipboard buttons and teeny tiny letter stickers - donated by Shazza

With all the fantastic entries this month I decided to put everyone's name into a draw for a RAK.

and the winner, drawn by my daughter Jenna,

Anita Bownds

Her entry was 'Furry Friends'

Congratulations Anita, you have won a
$10 voucher to spend at "Uproar 2 Scrapmore'

Lisa's Logie

Bec Miller

with her entry Uh Oh!

The winner of the Home Alone submission,
as voted by the rest of the Design Team

Ali Coles

Here is her submission for the month called 'All Alone'

Congratulations Ali, you have won a RAK of goodies for your creative efforts,
donated by Shazza :)

Could all the winners please email me their details to: shazzaalleyes@hotmail.com so I can get your prizes organised and/or posted out to you.

Again, I would like to thank all the ladies that submitted entries for the month. The quality of work of some of the entries was outstanding and made it very hard to pick the winner! I am sure the rest of the Design Team would agree with me....

I hope you all get a chance to participate in the challenge for October which is 'Night at the Museum' plus some extra criteria, which has just been posted.

A BIG Thankyou to all our Sponsors for September your generous

A little bit of info about the Director of Home Alone.

Christopher 'Chris' Columbus (born September 10, 1958 in Spangler, Pennsylvania ) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter.

Columbus graduated from Tisch School of the Arts. He created and wrote the first episodes of the animated series Galaxy High (1986–87).

Columbus made his directorial debut with the teen comedy Adventures in Babysitting (1987). He had huge success with the popular Home Alone film (1990) and its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York starring Macaulay Culkin.

In 1995, Columbus started his own production company named 1492 Pictures. This refers to Columbus's more famous namesake, christopher Columbus.

His later directorial work includes Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), Stepmom (1998), Bicentennial Man (1999), the first two Harry Potter films and Rent (2005), an adaptation of the popular Broadway Musical.

Commercially, he has been hugely successful, despite the occasional flop, but like his one-time mentor, Stephen Spielberg, he has met with critical accusations of excessive sentimentality and catering to children, as well as being described as a "bean counter" by British film critic Mark Kermode in criticism to his "bland and straight-forward direction."

As of August 2006, Columbus optioned the film rights to Christopher Moore's best-selling novel A Dirty Job.

Take Two, Scene Six......from...

Bec Miller - Uh Oh!

Bec said -When I saw the poster, I had to do this photo!!
She says Uh Oh and puts her hands to her face.
The red cardstock is the base one. I wasn't sure if I could do another cardstock also, so I did a cream one as well.
Loved doing this challenge.

Perfect photo for this challenge, love your pp you used, I love your layout, it's come together brilliantly - Shazza
