Sadly, this month will be our Producer's last stint on FS2S, We say goodbye to .......

Anne Patterson - All by Myself

What an Excellent last submission, love the photos, cogs and planes you have used. Love your stitching. Well done and good luck in the future Anne! We all hope everything goes well with you, and we may see you back here one day in the future! Keep in touch! Cheers Shazza

Have a look at this creative submission from..........

Natalie Elphinstone - Two Sweet Girls

Dear Shazza,
I used the theme of the poster to guide me this month as I have scrapped about my two girls who love each other very much. I made sure to incorporate all the criteria - I cut my girls out of the photo, I've done my title in two colours, and I made a miniature paper airplane as an embellishment. Thanks for the prompts and another fantastic challenge.
xx
Natalie

OMG! Fantastic submission, how clever are you :) Love everything about this layout Natalie....the little flying paper plane was a great idea! Awesome work.....How do you get time!
Cheers Shazza

Lets have a look at Chelle's submission.....

Chelle Beeby - Not So Frequent Flyer

Hey Shazza, oh my gosh what a great challenge this month, I really enjoyed this one and I even learned a thing or two! I have an aeroplane on my layout, my title has two colours and I have a cut out of two figures (which I also made look like a cartoon as I thought it went more with the feel of the layout)... cannot wait to see the subs this month... thanks heaps!! xx Chelle xx

This is great chelle! love your cartooney digi feel, the title is great and I love the journaling. The papers you have used are smashing and add a bright touch. The figures look like they are going to walk right out of the page...... I think this is now my new favourite of yours :)
Super work Chelle :) Cheers Shazza

Here is mine..... lol

Shazza Bishop - Jetsetting Friends

Here we are at Melbourne airport in 2008 ready to fly to Hamilton Island for a well earned rest and catch up. We had planned this trip for a while and thought it would be a great way to get together as we all turned 50 this year...(except Sue she's about 2 years behind us). Our little group had stayed close through State School (Sharon, Kim and I) and through High School (All of us) we played netball and basketball together.....hopefully we can do more travelling in the future....maybe when we retire!! :)
cheers
shazza

Another DT contribution to hang in the gallery, this time from....

Debbie Johnston - Family

Hi Shazza,
Here it is :)

Hi Deb! Is the scottish man in the photo a relative? would love to know more?
Gorgeous pp you used, love your spray of flowers and cute old worldy plane.
Great submission for the challenge Well done! Shazza

Lets see who is up next.......

Dale Tiernan - Grandpa

This was a page about farewelling Grandpa at Melbourne Airport on our way home from visting him in Ballarat in Victoria. The brads I've used are all travel related with little travel pictures on them. My Father in Law (Grandpa) was staying with us for a visit when I made this page and he loved it.

Hi Dale! This is a great page that you have submmitted this month. Looks like you have covered everything here. A a nice memory to keep of the boys and their pa's visit. Great work! - cheers shazza

Who is it going to be this time........

Chantal Vandenberg - Pre-Flight Excitement

Hi there Shazza!
Here's my layout inspired by Casablanca's movie poster! I was inspired by the colours and the mix of black and white with the colours. I was also inspired by the two main actors facing each other in the way I placed my photos. I have also included all three criteria...
1. Airplane on the page - I have hand-drawn the super cute airplane with girl and I love how it turned out! It takes challenges like these to get me back into cartooning and making my own embellishments.
2. 2 Colours in the title - Black and pink are my featured colours! :D
3. 2 photos - Yay!
Thanks for this month's challenge! :D
Cheers,
Chantal.

Chantal! What a fabulous submission this month. I love the cartooney feel to it with your added aeroplane. Love the different fonts you used and the photos are the perfect addition... lots of added embellies and bits and pieces.
I'm lovin your work Chantal. Cheers Shazza

Heres another DT members submission........

Marisa Page - Waiting at LUX

Hi Shazza,
Well here is my layout for the Casablanca poster.
I got my inspirations from the colours and the distressed
look of this poster. I have covered all the criteria.
For the 2 colour title I used 2 different tones of ink
on my chip alphas (LAX) also some paint and glimmermist
to achieve a worn distressed look. My aeroplane
sticker is an old one I found in my stash.
Well hope everyone has fun creating with this poster,
looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Regards,
Marisa Page
Blog: http://ohthejoyofapage.blogspot.com/

Great page Marisa!
I love the earthy tones you used,

love the LAX two toned title and font. Great pics of
your family waiting for their next flight. I love all the
distressing too, Gorgeous work from you...as allways :)

Wow!! and here is another Halloween entry.......

Celina Matthews - I'II get you my Pretty...

Hi, Shazza!

Here is my layout for this month's challenge! Since
Halloween is upon us I decided to incorporate it into my
layout with a little steampunk thrown in. I used pink paper
and then inked over it with Wron Lipstick Distress Ink and
misted it with Starfish Glimmer Mist. I painted one of my
photos with green alcohol ink and made my hat out of black
cardstock and pink flowers. The title is felt and from
Making Memories! Had a blast creating this one!

Thanks,
Celina Matthews
forevervampress@aol.com
http://scrapvamp.blogspot.com

Beautifully done Celina! A great entry for this months
challenge and I love how you used Halloween as your theme.
The silohouette witch looks fantastic and I love how you
incorporated it into your handmade hat. The background pp
with the cogs and wheels looks great too. I love this
whole page and how you put it together.
Well done - Cheers Shazza

Another entry today from......

Rani Hyninck - Happy Halloween

Hey Shazza,
Rani made it, a weekend later than planned , but she finnished her work.
To be honest I had to help her with the idea and the making of the title letters.
I think it turned out to be a funny LO.
She used a photo of her face (not a very pretty one, but it was perfect for this work), and made a witches outfit to fit with it.
The used the 3 criteria and came out with this.
I hope you like it.
big hug, hear you soon.
Rani en Vicky

Hey Rani!
You did a great job of your 'Happy Halloween' entry. I love how you used your side on face and added it to the witches costume. Your handmade witches hat looks great too! your black cat looks awesome :) this is fantastic. Well doneRani! Cheers Shazza

Here ia a great take on the challenge from.......

Melissa Pablo (isay) - Sometimes Angels Come Without Wings

hello miss shazza,
this is my take for this months challenge. this is Jylian again when she was only 3 mos old. i love how she glows in this photo and i can't believe she's almost two already. why do they grow up so fast? i made the hat myself, i used BasicGrey Kioshi light blue alpha stickers, and i have shades of pink. hope you like it. thaank you for the inspiration again. i can't wait for next month's challenge already LOL! God Bless.
-isay
http://isay-creativegenius.blogspot.com

Hi Melissa! What a simply gorgeous entry for this month. Jylian was a beautiful baby, such a little prescious :) I love the hat you made, and all those embellies are just yummy! Even the colors you have used against the pink backgroung really stand out! The whole layout has come together beautiful, you must be pleased with this page :) Cheers Shazza

A Great entry this month from.....

Jane Howden - Serene

Hi Shazza,
Here is my paper take on the October challenge - you have to love My Fair Lady - such a classic movie. I enjoyed playing around with the pink (and black) concept and was thrilled when I found a gorgeous vintage photo of my Mother resplendent in Sunday best - complete with hat - which fitted wonderfully with the poster theme.
All best,
Jane Howden
http://scrappiecesofme.blogspot.com/

Hi Jane!
Great entry for this months challenge. It is a beautiful serene photo of your mum. I love how you have used minimal embellies and added the journaling strips. Its come up just gorgeous. Well done - Shazza

Thursday, October 21, 2010

Look see!! Look see!! Another great layout from......

Lena Schreijenberg - You Look Kinda Royal

Hi Shazza,
Hereby my entry for the October challenge.
I used a photo of my kids when they were little. They loved to dress up and for "Queensday" I made them a king and queen costume.
Carmen's crown was bought but the veil was added by me. On the other hand, Liam's crown is totally handmade by me so that covers point 3 of the challenge I guess...
Out of a piece of cardboard I've cut out the word "ROYAL". I used these cut outs as stamps. Those stamps aren't perfect but I love them this way!
For the royal touch I chose this chandelier background paper and added lots of blings.
The border is made out of blue glitterglue and pink ink with white puffy paint dots in it.
Everybody's welcome to visit me at my blog: www.sixliliesstudio.com
XOXO, Lena

Thanks Lena for a great entry this month. Love what you did with the photo, how it turned out pink. the pp chandelier paper is gorgeous and is just the right touch. All criteria covered and expecially love Liam's handmade crown :)
Cheers Shazza

Another entry to share from....

Libeeti - The Queen and Spiderman

Hi Shazza,
Please see the attached layout for the November Challenge. I took inspiration from the colors (pink and blue) and from the theme of a lady and a gentelman, only my lady (myself) is a little older than the gentelman (my eldest)... :)
I think I've covered the extra criteria: shades of pink - done; blue title - done; handmade hat (the crwon is sort of a hat, isn't it?).
Great inspiration and thank you.
cheers,
Libeeti

Hi Libeeti! thanks for joining in the challenge this month......you are starting to become a regular :) love the idea you used for the lady and the gentleman. Did you both go to a fancy dress party? I would say a crown is a hat :) so well done and good luck!
Cheers Shazza

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

We have an entry today from......

Sherrie Plummer - Just Me

Hi Shazza,
My Lo is titled Just Me. I took these pictures of myself a few months ago. That's really hard taking pictures of yourself. My arm isn't long enough to get a good picture. LOL My hat I made looks like an award or ribbon. But it's the best I could do. Have a great day!
Sherrie

Hey Sherrie!
It's nice to see what you look like :) .....and I agree it is hard to take your own photos , I have the same trouble! lol I love the pp you used for the background on your page. Your hand made hat turned out fine :) Great little page about yourself, Well done! - Shazza

Monday, October 18, 2010

A beautiful entry today from...

Irit Shalom - So Pretty @ 21

Hi again Shazza!! My page for October challenge- I was mostly inspired from the " I am pretty,so pretty" song from this musical - so my title is So pretty with a subtitle AT 21
I decided to to use only 2 colors- pink as asked and blue- kind of turquise, but still blue- as asked for the title
The hat on the corner is hand made - also not by me, but in some indian village in S. America, but was so pretty on this page with my garden blooming girls
I hope you like my page
Irit Shalom

Irit! As always a beautiful entry. Love all the little enbellies especailly the little fence and gate. Gorgeous pics of your girls and that little handmade hat is just the right addition :) The pp you used is just beautiful. Another amazing layout. Well done!! Shazza

Here's another fabulous entry from .........

Tiffany Fibbert - Your Fair Auntie

Hi Shazza,
Decided to try From Screen 2 Scrap this month. Crazy here getting ready for a Craft Fair and so between work, kids and crafts, I barely have time for any of my own scrapping - so love that your blog is there to inspire! Lots of pink, blue title, 'Your Fair Auntie'- and of course, the crazy hat I gave her:)
This is my sister - who is obviously ADORED by my two little boys. Now, as you can see, she is not exactly acting 'ladylike' in these pictures (there were others with far worse behavior - hahah!), so thought it was perfect for this one. My notes to my boys (hidden behind the journaling tag, is all about how much they love their Auntie. Fun!
Hope you enjoy!
Cheers!
Hey Tiffany. Great entry this month for the challenge. I love the photos of your sister with your boys. I love the journaling tag that you added, and your handmade hat! All criteria covered, well done and super work again! Cheers Shazza

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Another beautiful layout from.......

Deb Clark - My Fabulous Jade

Hi Shazza,

What a great challenge this month was Shaz! Beautiful older movie poster, & a great fave of mine. I just love the glorious old movies...the costuming is often so very special.
This is a picture of my dear daughter, wearing a fascinator that I recently made for her day at the races!! Perfect for this challenge, & it worked out perfect for her too. I was amazed at the cost of these little bits of gloriousness at the shops, so I decided to have a go at making one....& it was a load of fun & turned out very well...if I say so myself! Especially as I am not really a sewing person, but gradually teaching myself what to do.
I have followed the criteria & used shades of pink though my page, a darker blue title & a little 'fascinating' hat embellishment as well.
Thank you for yet another wonderful challenge.
Cheers, Deb

Hey Deb! What a great entry... I love the 'fascinator' you made your daughter, it just turned out beautiful...I hope it bought her some luck at the races!!! lol The drips of paint and spraying are fantastic and really add dimension to this page. I love how you added the stamped image into the white space.....all in all a great entry. Good for you at having a go at sewing! Thanks for joining in! - Cheers Shazza

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Another great entry from...

Vicky Hyninck - Turning her into....

Hey Shazza,
Thanks for this wonderful challenge this month.
I really love this film poster , it's such beauty (for me impossible to do the same), so it took your 3 criteria and got to work with it.
This is the result, actually I'm proud of it, but that's because of the beautiful photos of my youngest daughter Yana, the photos were taken on her mardigras party in school this year.
She wanted to be a real cowgirl, for me she looks more like the next top model, but which mother doesn't think that of her daughter.
Anyway I hope you'll like my LO.
greetz
Vicky

Hey Vicky! Love this arty spin on the challenge, you are getting too clever! :) Great idea to use the photos from Yana's mardi gras party. She is a pretty girl...she could be the next top model, thats for sure! All criteria covered, and love that you made a magicians hat! A great interpretation, well done Vicky!! - Cheers Shazza

Thursday, October 7, 2010
