Natalie Elphinstone - All I Want For Christmas

Dear Shazza,
Here's my entry for December's Challenge. I've used the song "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth" as my title, and journalled about how my 3 year old daughter just wants EVERYTHING for Christmas! There's certainly 3 or more Christmas embellishments with all those baubles at the top (which are by Leeann Pearce), and there's plenty of bling too!
Cheers,
Natalie

I always love your takes on the challenges Jennifer, because you always think out of the square. Love your white Christmas tree, its gorgeous, infact I went with a white tree this year with pink and green stars..... lol Love your bling christmas tree and puffy snowflakes and red decorations in the left hand corner. Our last submission from ......

Ali Coles - Oh Christmas Tree

I used a christmas tree theme for my page. I love the bright Christmassy poster and as far as I'm concerned Christmas isn't Christmas until the tree goes up in our house.
1. Use a Christmas Song title for you layout title -I have used the carol 'Oh Christmas Tree' for my title,
2. Use 3 or more Christmas embellishments - I have used 3 chipboard christmas trees.
3. Lots of colourful bling - I have added gems to my trees, a glitter title, glitter ribbon under the trees and shiny red and gold brads.
Papers and stickers from Die Cuts With a View - From Ali

Hi Ali, from your photos, it looks like you have a huge christmas Tree. Love the three little Christmas trees along the bottom of the page. I agree with your statement ... that its not Christmas til the tree goes up. Great page Ali! - Shazza

P.S Forgot to mention that Ali was having camera probs thats why her submission is a bit late.

Introducing our Guest DT Member for December....

Anne Patterson

I'm very pleased to have Anne as our Guest DT member for December, I originally knew Anne through Ready, Set, Scrap and then we were both lucky enough to be chosen as 'Mad Hatters', DT members for 'Out of the Hat' challenge blog...... Anne is a beautiful scrapper as you will see in her work below, but lets get to know her first, here's a little bio about her.......

My name is Anne Patterson and I have been scrapbooking for over four years. I came across the hobby when a friend of mine invited me to go to a creative memories party when I was living in the US and I guess I just never stopped. I love scrapping and the main subjects are my wonderful sons who are 2 and 4 years of age. I can not say I have a distinct style as I enjoy trying new things and new products. My favourite techniques are paper piecing and stitching on my page, but I am always up for a challenge and this is often what inspires my LO’s. I am currently on the Design Team at Scrap of Difference (www.scrapofdifference.com.au).

My blog is at: http://scraptastic-stuff.blogspot.com

Here is my submission for the month.....

Shazza Bishop - Let it Snow

Hi Everyone!!

I have followed the criteria for this layout, I used the song title 'Let it Snow'. I hand made my fat snowman and used a felt tree and red stamped presents, (Stampin UP! roller - Gifts Galore), I also used paper snowflakes (3 or more Christmas embellishments used). For lots of bling I attached plastic fairy lights to wire and fixed to my layout with wire and tied off at the back of the layout, I strung them around the photo copying the lights around the house on the Deck the Halls movie poster. I also used Snow-Tex on the word Snow for authenticity. The photo was taken last year Christmas day with my neice Tiliesha (better known as Tillie) posing for me with the North Pole sign..... she is such a character!!
