These photos were made at Yana's schoolfair this year, here she was doing Chloƫ's (her best friend) make up.
I think I covered all creteria .
I hope you'll like it.
greetz Vicky
P.S. I made a flagrant mistake on my scrap Iwrote maid instead of made, but I noticed it too late, so I'm sorry.

Hey Vicki! No need to be sorry, we have all made little errors in spelling or grammer...Hey! We're only human :) Great page this month. Love your photos of the girls doing make-up. Celina Matthews - Zombie Invasion

Hi, Shazza!
I was really excited about this month's movie poster inspiration. When I saw it I knew I wanted to create a Halloween layout! I used Distress Inks in Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, and Black Soot on the background. I used Black Soot on my hand to get the hand print. I cut out photos of my daughter as a zombie last Halloween, and of my husband and son running away. I printed out the title in black then wrote out some journaling in black sharpie. Hope you all like it! Can't wait to see what the inspiration is for next month!
~Celina Matthews

http://scrapvamp.blogpost.com

Hi Celina! This is fantastic, great idea to use Halloween Photos. I love the way you did your title similar to the poster, how it reduces across the page in size, Your husband and son running away just makes it appear all the more real. Love the sooty handprint too. Great work from you this month Celina :) - cheers Shazza

We have another entry, this time from.......

Irit Shalom - 1 2 3 .... & Smile

Shazza hello!! Here is my page for September challenge- loved the red and yellow colors- also not as a base, but as my mattings, the hand prints were great on this page as we were celebrating my American niece Tamar B day in some Jerusalem park with no running water- so the hands were sticky when I took this photos
The black title was the best color ever for this colors combo
Hope you like this page- it was a great fun to so it and it was hard to stop with adding more and more embellishments and still to leave some white - green- space
Irit Shalom

http://iritshalom.blogspot.com/

Hey Irit! you always come up with something super for your entry. This is gorgeous, I just love the banner across the top of the page and your silohouette skipping girl just adds the perfect addition. Love the little handprints also and your neice is a cutie!. Look at this Fab layout from...

Cecelia Blanco - My Handy Helpers

Hello Shazza and DT members;0) Here is my submission for the September challenge. I had Anthony(youngest son) ink up his hands for the black hand print. He absolutely loved doing that and told me if I ever needed his help like that again to "call" him. He is too funny;0) If you want your kids to get excited, put ink on their hand and let them stamp. He thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to keep going;0) Then we could not get all of the black ink off... I absolutely love these pictures of my kids helping me around the house. I love them because it hardly ever happens when they actually "offer" to help. Usually I have to ask or tell them to help. So I had to capture the "special" moments...lol Thanks for the great challenge and have a great week;0)

Cecelia Blanco

www.ceceliablanco.blogspot.com

Cecelia, this is a wonderful page you have put together, the title is so fitting and love that your kids are helping you out lol Great that you son enjoyed the inking of the handprint. Love the birdie and branch, i think its Stampin UP! from memory, but looks cool on this page. Everything has come together really well on this page. Well done! - Cheers Shazza

Another entry today from .......

Sherrie Plumber - Invasion of the Heart

Hi Shazza,
This is my new grandbaby, Bella. My son took some really close up pictures of her while I was holding her. I wasn't too sure of the color combo but it turned out good. Great inspiration this month.
Sherrie

http://sherriesjournal.blogspot.com/

Ooh! Sherrie!!! Bella is just adorable, what a cute little bubba :) Love the title you used on your page! (A great twist on the movie title) and I love how you did your journaling on the fingers of the hand. Well done!! - Cheers Shazza

BIG Aplogies to......

Chelle Beeby

I forgot to mention that Chelle (DT member FS2S) was the one that donated the Stamp set for the blog hop and not me. It was used for Erika Martins prize. I got completely confused as I swapped it over (with Michelles approval) for the 'Good Neighbour' set from Stampin' UP!

So very sorry Chelle, sometimes I forget things in my busy, hectic blogging life.

Please forgive me hun :)

Hugs Shazza

Another Entry, this time from.........

Jen Fawkes - Meeting Dusty

Hi Shazza, have attached my layout for September.
I think I've met all the criteria.
I have red/ yellow cardstock around the edges
I have a black title
I have a (hand) paw print.
I've really enjoyed this one, it tells the story of a toy dog (but not just any toy dog) who travels around Australia joining families on various adventures. Dusty even has his own blog!
cheers
Jen Fawkes

Hi Jen! I like your idea for this months challenge :) I can't believe a toy dog has his own blog lol... I wander if he has lots of followers lol (I must check it out). This is simply a gorgeous page, beautiful colors used, love your journaling in white and all those pics are fantastic. I'm definately a Dusty fan. Great work! - Cheers shazza

Another entry in my inbox today from one of our regulars........

Libeeti - Fun and Laugh Together

Hi Shazza,
Please see the attached photo, my submission to September's challenge.
It was a real challenge for me, cause that color combo of red & yellow is not one of my fav color combos and I don't use it, usually. But I did go pretty nice with my eldest shirt's colors... LOL
I think I've covered all criteria:
Red & yellow cacrdstock - I've used them for the matting of the photo, and also a yellow cs for the basis of the lo.
Black title - partly in black, partly in red, but still I do have a black title.
Handprint - My kids' handprint, in green and red, are beneath the title. I also used a Hamsa shaped photo, which is a hand shaped.
I wasn't sure I'll be able to join this month, but there it is. There's always a place for hope... LOL
Take good care!
Libeeti

Hi Libeeti! I think you have done very well with the color combo, its not my favourite color combo either :( The group of photos you have used sure look like everyone is having fun together. I like the title you picked and the different fonts you used aswell. Great work with all criteria covered, and I'm glad you had a chance to join in Libeeti :)

Cheers
Shazza

Heres another great layout from .........

Deb Clark - I will give you a hand.......

Hi Shazza,

What an interesting poster this one was!! Didn't know what I could do a
first, but when I went looking through my pics, & saw what I wanted, it all
fell into place.

Loved using the red & red CS, such brilliant & definite colours, plus adding
all the little bits of embellishments to tell the story....of our little
grand son loving the power drill. All he wanted to do was drill, drill,
drill!

Thank you for yet another great challenge.

Cheers, Deb

http://debisjoy.blogspot.com

Hey Deb! Great photos you choose for
this theme and the title suits perfectly.
Love your inked handprint it looks very
much like the one on the poster

ACTION!! Take Two from.......

Lena Schreijenberg - Take my HAND and walk with me

Hi Shazza,
Oooh, how I just LOVE these challenges!!!
Hereby I send you my layout.
On the picture you see my father walking with my son Liam, they had such a strong bond!!
This photo was taken in 2002 when Liam was 4 years old. Maybe the Dutchies will recognize the place… it’s in the best Dutch amusement park “The Efteling” at the entrance of “Droomvlucht”.
My father died in October 2003, that’s now almost 7 years ago but we still miss him every day!!
Love, Lena

www.sixliliesstudio.com

Here is our first entry for the 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers ' challenge from....

Annemaree - Sausage Fingers

Hi Shazza, I decided to divulge my insecurities in this
page when you mentioned the handprint! I got in all
the bonuses too.

The journaling says: I've never really liked my big
hands and thick fingers and always considered them
sausage-like! You know, meaty and plump like they
should be on a Hot-Dog Bun! But, I am learning to love
them now - seeing all the things that I am able to CREATE!
Thanks so much!
Annmaree.
Hey Annemaree! Great little journaling piece :) and I love the
way you tackled the criteria this month. Well done! - Shazza

Here is another Submission from our new DT member .....

Chantal Vandenberg - Bye-Bye

G'day Shazza,

Please find attached my very first DT sample layout for September's challenge based on the awesome film poster of an awesome film based on my favourite ever book... "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers". I was inspired by the "movement" and the boldness of the poster, which creates a real "impact" on the design... great colour combo. I was also inspired by the "rough" lettering and the massive handprint. I've included all the extra criteria 1. black title, 2. must use red & yellow cardstock, 3. a handprint somewhere on the page - I covered my hand with brown paint and slapped it on there!! Loved how it turned out!!! :D

Love it Chantal...another beautiful bright layout. The bright colored asst'd flowers just look fantastic and really make the page come to life. A lovely photo you have used. Who is this young irl? Love your brown painted hand print too. You have covered all the criteria...Awesome and well done!! - Shazza
