Another gorgeous submission to share from ...........

Natalie Elphinstone - Me

Dear Shazza,
The 'important woman in your life' that I decided to scrap about was myself! As the person behind the camera and doing all the scrapping I think we too often forget to take photos and scrap about ourselves. But because I want my scrapbooks to be memories for our family in years to come I thought it was important to document some things that are going on in my life right now. I've included lots of raw and honest journalling as the focus for my layout. But I've kept to the red and green colour scheme including a green title, and I've used the row of tomatoes to inspire my row of circle embellishments above my photo. xx Natalie

What a great page 'About You' Natalie, all things that you have accomplished with your love of scrapbooking. Love how you have set this all out, and highlighted the titles of the paragraphs. This is great, excellent work - shazza

  1. I love how you have scrapped you as we are sooooo often missed in our pages as we are behind the camera or just don't like the picture. Beautiful LO.

  2. Love it Natalie - brilliant idea and the journalling is so important. Those flags are so cute

  3. I cut the little flags from one of the banners you get on the new Sassafras Lass banner embellishments. This one is from the Apple Jack collection.

  4. I just want to say this is brilliant. We do so often forget to include ourselves in our own work. I absolutely LOVE it! Your LO is wonderful!

  5. Natalie, so often we forget to scrap ourselves, I love that you have done this and you've inspired me so much I have to go scrap a layout of myself in this style, thank you!
