Chantal Vandenberg - Funny Valentines

Hi there, Shazza!!
Well, I'm really pleased how this one turned out!  Here I've used the film poster of "Valentines Day" as inspiration for my layout.  I took my cues from multiple photo images, simplicity, and the theme!  I've used up some old pre-digi pics and by using a mostly monochromatic base, they actually look nice! :D  I've included all the criteria here; 1. Black background (albeit polka-dotted!); 2. Used the work "Valentine" (with a "s" added for substance lol); and 3. a large heart shape (hand-cut that baby out!) :D  Great challenge this month!!! :D :D :DCheers,
Chantal Vandenberg

  6. Hi Chantal,
This is one of my faves of your layouts. I like the title too but my favourite part was the lace in the two corners. Only notice that later but it is a lovely touch.

  7. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, girls! I'll just add, that that polka dotted black background is in actual fact, fabric! It used to be a tee shirt of mine! lol! I've been using it heaps in my scrapping - and now there's only a few scraps left! Cheers! :D
