Natalie Elphinstone -  My Funny Valentine

Dear Shazza,

Here's my layout for the Valentine's Day challenge. What a great poster! This was certainly set to inspire as I could have taken this so many ways. In the end I used a similar concept of a recurring pattern (in my case stripes) to fill up the large heart on my black background. I used the title "My Funny Valentine" even though I was talking about my daughter because isn't valentine's day really just about celebrating those you love? And my daughter certainly says the funniest things at times. Here I've journalled about how she's started making up her own sayings and humerous exclamations!! Awesome challenge this month, can't wait to see what everyone else creates.
