Our First entry for the month from.......

Karen Williams -What's this?

Hi Shazza
I found this poster really hard to work with. I have
started two LOs wasted
three sheets of card and finally made this and even
then it doesn't have all the
But it does have
1. a moon
2. a fence
3. yellow and purple
4. a black swirl
5. a tiny skeleton
The title is my from my favourite song in the movie
when Jack discovers
Christmas "What's this?"
Hope this is OK
Hi Karen! this has turned out great! So sorry you had
wasted three sheets of cardstock: but the end result
is like Wow!I love your little swirl and your fence
looks awesome. I love how your moon is behind the photo.
The edging punch you use looks great. What brand of
punch is that? Great take on the challenge!
Cheers Shazza

  1. isn't it annoying when you can't get the idea you had to look just how you want it to on a LO?!!! But even if you're not 100% happy with your end result, I think it looks great! I love the filepaper background, that's my all time favourite Martha Stewart border punch & those fabby photo's just pop right off the page, which after all, is what we want isn't it...people to see the photo's & not just the PP & embellies?!! Great title/journaling work too BTW!! :)

  2. Karen it is fantastic :) sometimes we are too hard on ourselves when judging our own layouts! Love the loop punch and the little cluster of embellie...

  3. This is just adorable! I love the notebook paper and the fence! All the elements came together great!

  4. Karen, beautiful work, and I love how you have used faux note paper as your background, just gives it that extra something, something... iykwim?

  5. Fantastic take on the challenge! Love what you've done here! :D

  6. Your layout is great! Love the clustering. Don't worry about not having all the criteria, it should be fun to create :)

  7. I found this challenge hard too Karen so don't despair. I think you have done a fine job!!

  8. beautiful LO! great take on the challenge. love, love the loop and te simplicity of your LO.

  9. I think you've done a great job in the end. Love this layout, especially all your white space.
