Here is my submission for the month called.....

Mistletoe Moments

I had fun with this layout, and I have covered all the Criteria :)

The Movie Extra for December is ME!!

Hi Ladies!!

You are going to have to put up with me as the Movie Extra this month as we had a cancellation.

I have been scrapping for about 3-4 years and love everything about the scrapping industry, the on-line stores, challenge blogs, workshops, retreats etc.... I don't have a style to my scrapping as I try a bit of everything and love learning new techniques. I love owning ARTastic Challenge blog you can view here and FS2S, as they have kept me intouch with our scrappy world. I get alot of my inspiration from my Design Team Members, blogs and workshops.

I have just recently taken over ownership of 'Soul Scrappers' which is a Scrapping Ning community that offers challenges, competitions, ATC and Card swaps, Techniques through tutorials and videos. I'm excited about this new venture for 2012 and beyond. If you would like to come and have a look you can get to 'Soul Scrappers' from here. Any new members that join before the end of December will go into a random draw for a Scrapbooking kit, .......just mention 'Shazza' sent you :)

Here are some of my favourite layouts from 2011.....

and

I would love to see you all join in this month, the criteria is quite easy and I know that Scrapping Christmas layouts is a favourite theme amongst a lot of scrappers. We have some great prizes to win!

I  would like to thank all my Design Team Ladies that have submitted amazing layouts and inspiration this year, FS2S would not be the same without them. I wish our entrants and members a wonderful Christmas and New Year and hope to see you in 2012. Lets make 2012 the best scrapping year ever!!

Kind Regards
Shazza

Here is Natalies submission.....

Christmas Treats

Dear Shazza,

How wonderful to be scrapping Christmas photos again. I just love this time of year! I had some wonderful photos of my daughter demolishing a Gingerbread House from last Christmas that were begging to be scrapped. Along with the white cardstock I went with some non-traditional colours of pink and teal, and I made my own little Santa hat to go on Bethany's head.
What a wonderful challenge once again, a perfect way for me to finish up my DT term here at From Screen 2 Scrap. I've sincerely enjoyed my time with you and I wish you all the very best for the New Year and beyond.

xxx
Natalie

***This is Natalie's last month on the FS2S Design Team. We would all like to thank her for her fantastic submissions each month and hope to see her around the scrappy sites in the New Year. All the best Natalie and keep in touch! - Shazza xxx

Smile

Hi Shazza,

Here is my Christmas page for our December inspiration.  Can you believe we are in the silly season already – where has this year gone?  I thought I would make my layout bright and cheerful befitting the holidays season – I’ve used white cardstock and have red and white letters for my title – Santa is of course wearing his personal Santa hat!!

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you, the other Design Team members and all of our supporters and scrappy friends a safe and happy Christmas, may all your wishes come true.  We all look forward to seeing you on site again next year.

Kind regards,
Jane

Here is Sandi's submission for December....

Happy Christmas Nanny!

Hi Shazza

Attached is my submission for Decembers 'White Christmas' challenge...I had a great time putting this one together & it was good to use a 'less than perfect' photo that otherwise wouldn't have made it onto a LO!! It's one of my elder son talking to his Nanny on Christmas day. It was the first year she wasn't with us on Christmas morning as the snow had made the roads too bad for her to travel to us. We did Christmas all over again at the end of January to make up for it!!!

As for criteria...1. White CS...check! (no problem there as it's one of my favourite starting points!!) 2. A two Colour title...check...red glitter & black puffy alpha's. 3. Christmas hat(s)...well there is only one but as the photo cut it off I added a felt extension & bobble to meet the criteria!!! Hope that counts!!

Mary Steinmetz's submission....

Ho Ho Ho

HI Shazza,
Here is my Dec entry,

1.)White cardstock
2.) Christmas hats
3.) 2 colored title.

I have been meaning to scrap this picture for a long time.

We have Dale Tiernans submission next.......

Oh Xmas Tree

Hi Shazza,

Here is my layout for December. It was a very inspiring poster. I immediately took inspiration from the Christmas tree. I have made a half a Christmas tree using a square punch. I've added a star at the top (also half) like the poster and added little stars along the side of the tree, again like the poster. The poster had a green base under the tree and I have included one in my layout also.
The base is white cardstock as per the criteria and I have a green and red title. I like that it all turned out crisp and clean. I think having a white background helped that a lot.
I've included two tiny Christmas hats in my journalling and in fact made the journalling all about the hats.
Aren't these stunning street decorations for Christmas?

Dale

Here is Alanna's submission.....

Oh Christmas Tree

Here is Karen Williams submission........

Just the Wrong Moment

Hi Shazza
Here is my submission for the December challenge
I've got all the criteria- white card- two colour title- and I'm wearing a Christmas hat with added plaits in the photo.
I tried to give a Christmassy feel with the red and green colour scheme and I punched some circles and added a touch of gold card and string to imitate baubles.
The photo is if me last Christmas- I took it myself ( hence the wonky angle and the slight blurring) Just as the Christmas dinner was being laid on the table and we were all being called to eat Nancy fell asleep in my arms- just the wrong moment.
You might guess from that that I wasn't in charge of cooking the Christmas dinner :)
hope this is OK
Karen

Here is Debi Clark's submission for December.....

Our Own Fab White Christmas

Ah dear Shazza, the Christmas spirit is all around! And
holidays soon...great!

I loved this movie poster, who wouldn't really! The
magical White Christmas...I have chosen some photos
during our trip to the UK at Christmas in 2005,
& here is Pete & Jade eating their Christmas
dinner, that we all prepared. The infamous vegies
relate to the fact that we were at Borough Markets
the day before, buying lovely yummy vegies &
I was pickpocketed!!
After the initial panic, we now laugh about those
theiving vegies!

I have used all the criteria of white CS (isn't it
great to scrap on pure white!), my 2 toned title is
'Our own fab White Christmas', & I have used
photos of Pete & Jade wearing Christmas hats,
& then Jadie with her Santa hat...that travels
with her.

I wish all our DT's & players a warm & happy
Christmas.

And you Shazza, our dear organiser..all the very
best always.

Love Deb xx

Happy Christmas

Mazlina's submission for November......

Mazlina - This must be how it feels to have a HOME

Here's my submission... I have no white pen, but the journaling letter is in white.. will that count? :) This picture is during our Eid festival last August.. :)

Come meet our Movie Extra for the month.....

Mazlina

Hello everyone! I am Mazlina, currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I started scrapbooking 3 years ago and was hooked since. I took a year break when we moved to Melbourne last year, but I am up and running again now. My family is my muse, especially my 6yo son and 3yo daughter. I just love how scrapbooking captured the precious moments in a beautiful way. I love to use bright colors and play with lots of paper combination. Thank you for having me as November Movie Extra. It's a great movie poster, and perfect to capture your family photos.

Here is Alanna's submission.....

Allana Nelson - All home for Christmas

A Christmas LO based around a photo of my extended family (well, 99% of them) all home for Christmas in 2010. Home being country Victoria when my parents grew up. White journaling on tag, word home, and photo of family gathering all included. Have fun with this challenge everybody, I sure did!

Mary Steinmetz's submission....

Mary Steinmetz - Theres no place like HOME

Next, is Karens submission...

Karen Williams - At Home with the Ladies

hi Shazza

this one posed a few problems for me- mainly the photo- I had some great photos from Stanley's recent birthday of him and his cousins but my printer is not playing ball- so then I looked through my old family photos and found not much at all- i don't seem to have any photos with all the family together that I cloud combine with a title that included the word home- i had photos of us out, photos of us at parties and photos from funerals ( is it just my family that takes photos at funerals?)

So this photo was my last resort- my Mum, Nan, Stanley and me posing together in the pre digital age- so no chance to realise Mum's eyes were closed and Stanley was looking the wrong way. But I'm very grateful for the photo- I don't have Mum and Nan any more- they never got to meet my other two children - so I'm just pleased to have it at all- Nan was wearing a wig in the photo because she was struggling with cancer when the picture was taken.

Hope it s OK

Karen

Here is Debs submission....

Deb Clark -Homeward Bound

Wow Shazza, it is November with Christmas looming...where
has 2011 gone!!

I really enjoyed working on this LO of my young kiddies
& their cousins, at a family gathering at Minnie
Waters in 1985..so long ago!!I had fun with bright
happy papers & it is titled Homeward Bound, as
we were all about to pile in our cars & head
different directions, but the kiddies didn't want to
get off the hurdy-gurdy & stop playing together

All criteria met -

- family gathering photo
- home in the title
- journaling with white pen

I hope we see lots of gals here this busy month!

Cheers, Deb

Here is Sandi's submission for November

Sandi Robinson -At Home for Auld Land Syne

Attached is my LO for the November 'Home For The Holidays' challenge.  I've included a 'family gathering' photo...our mob on New Years Eve 2009, journalling in white pen & included the word 'Home' in the title!! I had fun using up lots of scraps & bits & bobs from my stash for this one...thanks for another great challenge Shazza!!

I've also attached a photo of an RAK for November...some AC Thicker chipboard accents &  two packs of sticker embellies.

I'm really looking forward to working on 'A White Christmas' & hope we get lots of entries for November!!

Next is Janes Submission...

Jane Howden - Home is where the Heart is.

Hi Shazza,
Here is my submission for November. I have used an older photo of my husband and children on our front verandah as my family gathering photo and highlighted the fact that this is about “home” by using a house shape as a base for the picture. I’ve added the white pen as part of the title rather than as journaling and added HOME as the main title. Can’t wait to see how everyone tackles this month’s inspiration.
All the best,
Jane

Here is Dale's submission....

Dale Tiernan - Home for the Holidays

Hi Shazza,

Here is my take on the Home For The Holidays movie poster.
I've used some of the colours and lifted the title. The family gathering is Christmas lunch last year at our home.
I have home in my vellum title and have journalled in white pen.
I've done quite a bit of fussy cutting on my layout.

Cheers,
Dale

Here is this months sub from Jennifer.......

Jennifer Manis -Home is Where your Family is

Hi Shazza!  Just wanted to send in my layout for November's poster.  November already!  I can't believe it!  I really enjoyed using this month's poster; it's perfect for this time of year!  For my layout, I used an old photo of my Grandma and some of her sisters.  She had many siblings, and I always wonder what that would be like, since I am an only child.  From the photos I have, it looks like they had lots of get-togethers!  My layout is titled, "Home is Where Your Family Is".

Thanks!
Jen
