Here is Sarah Elliott's submission for the month using the 'Sherlock Holmes' poster and added criteria as inspiration.....

Sarah Elliott - Spring

I really tried to stick to the 'block-y/shelf' format on the poster. The backgrounds is 2 sheet then I cut strips from another pattern sheet (crackle finish design), stamped the strips with a script writing stamp (careful to keep it all going in the 1 direction). I used the strips to divide it into 'boxes' like the poster... stamped some bigger script writing over it all (again mimicking the poster) and added the metal Block Title (was a magnet the strip came off of) and added some metal Garden Charms.

Love this Sarah! Are all these photos from your garden? The garden charms are a nice little addition. :) you have done the printers block 'title' perfectly. Just love the teal background pp you used...it looks fantastic. Great work! - Shazza

  1. Yup, all from our yard. We have a tiny little postage stamp yard we turned into a 'Secret Garden' get-away last summer. I'm addicted to Fleurs so I try to cram as many as I can in, up where my Digger-Dog won't ruin them.
